If you are looking for professional development that will enable you to teach literacy while you teach content, then these are the workshops for you. Spend the day with Pat Hipwell (an experienced high school teacher and literacy consultant) and leave with an increased repertoire of literacy teaching strategies.

This workshop will enable you to:
- Identify the literacy demands of an assessment task
- Embed these literacies in a unit of work
- Develop strategies for teaching these literacies
- Critique assessment design and purpose
- Produce task specific criteria sheets
Teachers should bring a Unit of Work and an Assessment Task.
